Welcome to fabrictraders.co.uk where our aim is to provide a fresh approach to buying designer fabrics on-line at very competitive prices.
It is fabrictraders.co.uk intention to list all of its suppliers' ranges in full on the website to enable our customers to instantly see their chosen fabric,wallpaper or trimming with our special on-line prices. However, as we are sure our customers will understand, this is a huge undertaking and for the time being some suppliers fabrics will not be listed. Please note that all suppliers' products are still available at our discounted prices - please email us for a quotation and we will respond as quickly as possible!
ORDERING
Fabrics can be ordered via the website where available or by email or telephone. The minimum order is one metre of fabric or one roll of wallpaper or one tin of paint. For fabric orders we only accept orders in whole or half metre increments.
PAYMENT
We accept payment by all major credit cards except American Express. All transactions are secured by 128bit SSL Encryption. We will send products to an address that differs from the card holder's address, BUT, we must have the correct billing address for the card used. We are also happy to accept cheques (UK Sterling ONLY!), International Money Orders or Postal Orders sent to us by post. You can also transfer money directly into our Bank Account:

DELIVERY CHARGES
For delivery within the UK mainland there is a £10.00 carriage charge per respective fabric house. Should you order more than one item from one particular fabric house and an item is out of stock, then the goods will be sent out separately but will incur only one delivery charge. We are very happy to send fabrics and trimmings worldwide but the carriage charges will vary according to the weight and destination. Therefore carriage outside Mainland UK must be quoted for on application.
STOCK AVAILABILITY
Fabrictraders.co.uk do not carry stock and therefore are ordering direct from the suppliers according to demand. For this reason we are not aware of stock availability until we order each respective item. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that all of your order will be available, but we will inform you of any out of stock items via email as soon as possible. Should an item be out of stock, an expected delivery date will be given and the right to cancel the item for a full refund will apply. Should you wish to wait for the item to come into stock and have more than one item in the order fabrictraders.co.uk will ship the items which are available and send on the out of stock goods as they come into stock.
FABRICS
Please note that we do not deal in seconds. Please be aware that certain fabrics, such as silks and linens, contain certain slubs which are a characteristic of the fabric and are in no way a flaw or fault.
SAMPLING
Fabrictraders.co.uk are happy to provide complementary cuttings of up to five samples via email request. Click here.
STOCK CUTTINGS
Cuttings are not indicative of stock dye batches. Shades can sometimes vary between samples and batches so, if the colour match is critical, please ask us to order you a stock cutting of the current batch when placing an order. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any differences in shade.
SUITABILITY
All fabrics to be used for upholstery purposes must comply with the'Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988'. Fabrics that do not comply will require the use of barrier cloths, flame retardant interliners, or in some cases chemical treatment to ensure compliance. Please seek advice from your upholsterer.
PAINTS
Please note fabrictraders.co.uk can only deliver paints within mainland U.K.
RETURNS
Please inspect all orders very carefully as nothing can be returned once it has been cut,treated or used in anyway. In the unlikely event that you receive faulty goods, please contact us immediately and we will replace these free of charge. Should you realise that you have ordered the wrong product and wish to return goods that are not faulty, please contact us immediately to discuss this. Goods can only be returned once you receive written confirmation and will be subject to a re-stocking charge at the discretion of the fabric house in question. All goods returned must be in a saleable condition. All costs relating to returns are the buyers responsibility.
Please note returns are not usually available on orders under 5 metres.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
